  1. Great question, David! I apologize for not including this. The Y axis is the total volume for each set, in kilograms (number of repetitions x weight lifted). A set where 40 kilograms was lifted for 10 repetitions would equate to a volume of 400 on the Y-axis for that set. I hope this helps!
